3rd Quarter 2019 – Single Family Home Sales

SINGLE FAMILY HOME SALES:

July to September 2019

Overall third quarter 2019 home sales declined when compared to the same quarter of 2018. This is also a decline from the 73 homes sold in the second quarter of 2019.  Along with the decrease in sales there was an increase in the days on the market (DOM) for homes (55 DOM versus 48 DOM in 2018).  Sale prices fell when compared to list price, with an average discount of 1.5%, similar to the 1.3% discount for the same period in the prior year, and 1/2% less when compared to the 1.0% discount in the second quarter 2019.  One exception to the list versus sales price decrease were the homes in the lowest price range which actually sold for slightly more (up .3%) than list price.

As of September 30, 2019 there are 55 single family homes for sale.
